High up in the Brisbane suburb of Seven Hills is a narrow winding road called Majestic Outlook. It’s a popular street with families and a lot of renovations and additions are taking place.

We were asked by Pete and Rosie to build under and out of the existing post-war house to make it more suitable for their active family. This was a very challenging job as the block was very steep and did not allow for any access for machinery.

We built a large extension on the back underneath allowing for an extra two bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, lounge room, deck and bathroom. To save on cost we opted to retain some of the existing concrete columns turning them into features in the bedroom and lounge room downstairs.

The house was designed by the client and we worked as a team to produce a very stylish family home.
